Bella Bozard makes school history at North-South All Star Game

November,  2025 — West Ashley High School is proud to announce that senior golfer Bella Bozard was the  first girls golf player in school history to be selected for the prestigious North–South All-Star Game, marking a historic conclusion to her exceptional four-year career.The North- South Game is a competitive and memorable weekend pitting top high school seniors against one another after the state championship. While she is accustomed to tournament pressure, Bella shared that this atmosphere was a little different and bittersweet as it fostered competition and sportsmanship. When we caught up with Bella she noted how this event was special and showed the importance of sportsmanship and the social aspect of sports. Last Friday, The Den was rocking as the West Ashley Basketball Programs hosted Wildcat Madness to launch the 2025 season! The night tipped off with exciting matchups featuring our feeder schools—Carolina Voyager, C.E. Williams, and Orange Grove—setting the tone with nonstop energy.From there, all five of our Wildcat Basketball teams hit the court for high-tempo intrasquad scrimmages that had the crowd on its feet. It was the perfect way to fire up the season. Two of our West Ashley Softball Players signed today to play at the next Level. Senior Carson Wolf will make the drive up I-26 to University of South Carolina Upstate this Fall, and Senior Lainey Hall will head out of state to University of Alabama Birmingham. We are so proud of their accomplishments and we look forward to a standout senior season capping off impressive high school careers for Carson and Lainey. Follow West Ashley Softball on instagram at @westashleysoftball all season long.    >>

Key Performances:Maurice Cannon (Jr) led all scorers with 16 points, shooting 6-for-12 (50%) and posting a 58% AFG%, providing consistent scoring inside.Jackson Terrell (Jr) added 14 points on an efficient 6-for-9 (67%), finishing with a strong 72% AFG%.Corbin Guerry (Sr) contributed 13 points, going 4-for-8 (50%) and giving the offense steady production.Trevon Brown (Sr) chipped in 6 points on 2-for-5 shooting (40%), including higher-value attempts reflected in his 60% AFG%.Darrell Green (Sr) added 4 points while shooting 50% from the floor.

West Ashley traveled to Sumter to take part in the Stars and Stripes Exhibition to take on Wilson High SchoolKendell Mack (Sr) led the way with 26 points, shooting 9-for-13 (69%), and posted an impressive 85% adjusted FG%, providing consistent scoring throughout the game.Corbin Guerry (Sr) added 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting (63%), offering efficient production.Jackson Terrell (Jr) scored 9 points while going 4-for-9 (44%), continuing to be a reliable interior option.Maurice Cannon (Jr) contributed 8 points, shooting 4-for-8 (50%).Darrell Green (Sr), Trevon Brown (Sr), and Javeon Porter (So) were perfect from the field in limited attempts, combining to go 4-for-4.

✨Wildcat History Made✨Despite tough conditions, West Ashley finished 10th in the State Golf Tournament — the first Top 10 finish in school history for our Women’s Golf Team! 🏆Senior Bella Bozard led the way with an 88, earning Low Medalist honors for WAHS.Senior Logan Taylor closed out her 6-year career with a birdie on her final hole — what a finish!
